On the afternoon of October 9, 2012, Wu Qing, the deputy secretary of Hongkou Committee of CPC and governor of Hongkou District, Zhang Xiping, member of Hongkou standing committee of CPC and deputy governor, and Li Guohua, the deputy governor, accompanied by director of Hongkou Science and Technology Commission, came to DOBE Old Commercial House for a inspection, in order to investigate the construction of Shanghai Music Valley and the implementation of relevant policy.

        As part of the Music Valley project, the construction and investment of DOBO Old Commercial House 1913 had gained much attention from the leaders of Hongkou District. Wan Lijiang, the vice president of DOBE, made a comprehensive presentation and reporting for the governors on the type, registration of enterprises settled in the park as well as the innovative service provided by DOBE. The district leaders fully affirmed the occupancy rate of 100% and the planning and positioning of the park.

        As an important channel for connecting shipping in north Bund, financial center, and Commercial Street in North Sichuan Road, it was reported that the Shanghai Music Valley was a “master” integrating music industry, which was an industry cluster with the theme of original music and covered music creation center, artistic talent incubation, arts performing for exhibition and cultural consumption. The whole Music Valley could take its shape generally next year, and was able to function in two or three years.
