On June 1, a party of more than 10, including Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee’s Standing Committee Member and Publicity Department Chief Qi Xiaohu and Deputy Chief Gong Zhinan, visited DoBe Group’s first large creative park in Hangzhou——DoBe E-Manor of Dongxi, and had a field investigation on the cultural and creative park’s development in Jianggan District. 

DoBe Group’s Board Chairman Jia Bo first led Mr. Qi and his party to the park’s “8 Views of the East Brook” created by learning from the “10 Views of the West Lake”, such as the Autumn Moon over the Peaceful Lake, the Brook with Swimming Fishes, the Phoenix Pond Community Center, etc. The ecological design creates a land of peace in the metropolis, provides cultural, creative, sic-tech and innovative enterprises in the park with a cozy and flexible development platform. Mr. Qi praised DoBe Group’s park environment, functional facilities and operation model. In the meantime, he expressed thanks to DoBe Group for settling down in Jianggan District of Hangzhou and injecting new energy into Hangzhou cultural and creative industries’ development.

DoBe E-Manor of Dongxi is a park for creative companies, Internet-based sci-tech and innovative enterprises from around China and the world. It has attracted A-Dream, an original home furnishing brand in Hangzhou, BerryShow, an original beverage brand popular among young people born in the 1990s and the 2000s, MaiMaiJiao (later renamed Circle.us) since 2012, which serves international e-commerce users, and many other famous enterprises. In the meantime, the park also has attracted many famous mature enterprises, such as Nita Design that served the China Flower Expo in 2013 and the World Horticultural Expo in Holland in 2012, as well as FOTILE Marketing Center and KTJ Pay.

Mr. Qi and his party visited several enterprises in the park in succession, including BerryShow, Haier KJT Pay, Hangzhou Dongzan Culture & Creation. They learnt the enterprises’ development and future orientations in detail. “Is the industry highly concentrated? Are the enterprises’ tax payments in place?” During the visit, Mr. Qi had frequent interactions with the enterprises. He cared about the park and enterprises’ current development situation and made suggestions on related problems.

DoBe E-Manor of Dongxi is DoBe Group’s first creative park in Hangzhou. It’s a micro city for international Internet innovation that integrates “innovative enterprises”, “industry incubation”, “living facilities”. The park’s total area exceeds 90,000㎡, consisting of 2 buildings and a podium, with hotels, apartments, restaurants, gyms, cafés, offices, parking lots and other facilities scattered in the park.

So far, DoBe Group has successfully signed contracts for 50 cultural and creative industry clusters distributed in the USA, Italy, Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, etc. It has served more than 5,000 enterprises, 100,000 white-collar workers, staged more than 300 roadshows, channeled capital for enterprises in its parks over 500 ties. It’s reported, this year DoBe will have some new movements by the beautiful West Lake. In the future, it will have more projects settle down in Hangzhou to promote the city’s business ecology.
