On Nov. 29, Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture, Radio, Film & TV Deputy Director General Jin Lei, Culture, Film & TV Industry Division’s Head Wu Qiong visited DoBe Sports LOFT Creative Park @ Fanghua, to learn DoBe Group’s development in cultural and creative industries. Pudong District Commission of Commerce’s Deputy Director Hu Kanghua, Pudong District Publicity Department’s Cultural Industry Division’s Head Wu Jun, Huamu Sub-District Office’s Director Gao Hong, DoBe Group’s President Jia Bo and Chief Art Officer Su Rong accompanied the visitors. 

At the colloquium, DoBe Group’s Chief Art Officer Su Rong said: “as DoBe Group’s first park in Pudong, DoBe Sports LOFT Creative Park @ Fanghua is grateful for the support from government officials at all levels, particularly Huamu Sub-District.” DoBe Group’s President Jia Bo introduced the park’s industrial development and enterprises: DoBe began to invest in and operate cultural and creative parks in 2006. How we have successfully signed contracts for more than 70 creative parks around the world, including the overseas projects in America’s Silicon Valley and Italy’s Florence. Every park has its own industry positioning, attracts a large number of excellent cultural, creative, sic-tech and innovative enterprises. The average occupation rate is above 85%, nearly 90%. HUPU is one of the first enterprises that grew up in DoBe Sports LOFT Creative Park @ Hongkou. DoBe has witnessed the growth of many enterprises, such as Meituan Dianping, Kidstone. Exactly the same with LIA, DoBe probably is serving the most cutting-edge and most enterprising people in China.

At present, DoBe aims to become an "embassy" for global cultural, creative, sci-tech and innovative SMEs. In the future, it will build international parks around the world in more than 10 international cities, including London of Britain, Tel Aviv of Israel, Paris of France, Munich of Germany, Tokyo of Japan, New York of the United States, Melbourne of Australia. Mr. Jin said it was helpful to see more places, stay in touch with local cultural authorities and develop along the "Belt and Road" for realizing the state strategy.

At last, Mr. Jin and his party visited Lianhua Architecture and Bianyue Culture in the park, to learn their daily operation. In the future, DoBe will further help enterprises to connect resources, build service platforms and deepen its service. Mr. Jin said: “through internal services, you know more about enterprises’ needs than the government does, which attracts many excellent enterprises. Culture is a branch of the important pillar in the future. Some promotion support should be formed for cultural park construction in the future. DoBe is suggested to classify the enterprises, especially the online game, animation and fashion industries, continue to cultivate and incubate under-scale enterprises, report those enterprises already have a certain scale to the government for more support, help their growth, and further boost industrial upgrading.”
