The presentation entitled Thailand: Towards the Future of Sustainable Growth co-hosted by Thailand Board of Investment, Royal Thai Embassy, Shanghai and Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai was held here in Shanghai on June 29th. Somkid Jatusripitak, Vice Prime Minister of Thailand attended the presentation and delivered a keynote speech. Then Yang Jianrong, president of Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai, delivered his welcome address. As a representative of excellent enterprises, DOBE Group was invited to participate in this meeting.
Somkid Jatusripitak, Vice Prime Minister of Thailand delivered a keynote speech entitled New Economic Policies for Thailand. Major leaders like ministers and commissioners of Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Finance of Thailand, Thailand Board of Investment, National Tourism Administration also spoke in the meeting and expressed their ideas about several areas like Chinese tourism industry, manufacturing sector and cultural sector as well as conveyed their wish for a closer tie between China and Thailand in our bilateral cooperation and development.
Mr.Yang Jianrong also expressed his welcome for our Thailand's guests to visit Shanghai. He said, "As a close neighbor of China, Thailand has always enjoyed the fame of State of Ceremonies. And Thailand has always been a good neighbor, brother and partner of China. High-level contacts between our two countries have been frequented in recent years with fruitful results achieved in economic and trade cooperation and people-to-people and cultural exchanges. Thailand is not only the market of ASEAN countries and gateway of the Greater Mekong sub-region but also an important partner for China to realize our national macro strategic market of One Belt and One Road. Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai, Chamber of International Commerce Shanghai are important organizations engaged in foreign economic and trade cooperation in Shanghai whose goal is to promote trade, investment and economic and technological cooperation between Shanghai and other regions or other countries in the world. We're ready to redouble our efforts to promote the development of economic, cultural and trade relationship between Shanghai and Thailand."
