On Nov. 13, a classical music concert “The Sound of Music: Puccini Aria” about Giacomo Puccini, a famous opera composer in Italian history, was held successfully in Shanghai & Florence-Sino Italian Design Exchange Center (Florence Base) constructed by DOBE.

    This concert was cosponsored by ARKIGEO Design Association and Lions Clubs International Florence. Founded in 1917, Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service organization. With “Serve Human Beings and Promote the Understanding and Communication between International Communities” as tenet, it has 46,000 branches and 1.4 million members scattered around the world. Sino Italian Design Exchange Center’s representative Mr. Corrado Galli, ARKIGEO’s person in charge Mr. Francesco Tulli and members of Lions Clubs International Florence were present at the concert. At the night, famous conductor Ms. Grazia Rossi, soprano Ms. Yuliva Tuzava and tenor Mr. Artemy Maghly presented a music feast together

    This is the second time that Sino Italian Design Exchange Center and ARKIGEO Design Association join hands following the cultural opera performance “A Journey between the East and the West — Through the Invisible Cities”. The aim is to promote cultural and art exchanges between China and Italy, drive and deepen further cooperation in cultural fields between the two countries in the future.
