On Oct. 30th, Smart Community Innovation Union was founded in Shanghai. DOBE Group became a Vice Chairman Unit of Smart Community Innovation Union. DOBE Group’s CEO Wan Lijiang and representatives of other Union member units signed the Written Union Proposal together.

Smart Community Innovation Union follows the tenet of resource sharing, collaborative innovation and win-win cooperation, aiming to build a supply & demand, application & industry connection platform for smart community construction based on the practical needs of the residents and basic management to promote the multi-industry interdisciplinary innovation and application in industry-university-research cooperation. 

In Smart Community Innovation Union’s First Council, the Chairman Unit is Shanghai Eastday Co., Ltd.; Vice Chairman Units include 16 units, such as Shanghai Telecom, Shanghai Mobile, Shanghai Unicom, Vanke, Agricultural Bank of China and DOBE Group; the Secretary-general Unit is Shanghai Casermation Services Association.

At the meeting, Li Yaoxin, Director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Casermatization, not only put forward the prospects of Smart Community Innovation Union in the next few years, but also placed great hopes on the Union’s future. He pointed out Smart Community Innovation Union should actively play its role and deepen smart community construction, trying to form a group of smart communities, smart villages, smart business districts, smart parks and smart towns with demonstration and popularization effect by 2016.
