In the afternoon of August 08, under the guidance of the Creative City Promotion Office and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Casermatization, the Shanghai Municipal Creative (Design) Industrial Investment Fund Alliance came into existence officially with participation of DOBE and the other seven enterprises.

Deputy Mayor Ai Baojun, party group members of the MIIT and chief engineer Zhu Hongren have participated in the activities. Based on the principles of the government supporting, voluntariness joining-in and market operation, the alliance was founded with many-round consultation effects of the relevant fund management agency. It will build the bridge between the investment fund of the alliance and the small & middle–size enterprises of the creative (design) industry to explore a professional investment financing service mode and also to guide reasonable financing requirements of the enterprises to shorten its period and improve efficiency.

         The Shanghai Municipal Creative (Design) Industrial Investment Fund Alliance Constitution has been endorsed under the promotion of the Management Center of the Shanghai Creative Industries Demonstration & Service Platform by eight investing institutions and they are: Shanghai DOBE Cultural & Creative Industry Development Co., Ltd., Shanghai Guosheng Group Co., Ltd., Sequoia Capital (China), Haitong Innovation Capital Management Ltd., Incufortune, Bluepoint Investment, Infinity Venture Capital Investment Group (Shanghai), CNSTONE Investment Consultant Ltd. (Shanghai).

        It is reported that the converted capital amount under management of the fund alliance is RMB 26.9 Billion (in which RMB 9.35 Billion and USD $ 2.7 Billion) and the attention will be laid upon the project investments of the creativity (design) industry.
