Recently, the 2018 (2^nd) Boao Enterprise Forum cosponsored by China Business Herald News Weekly and QIYE.GOV.CN was grandly held at Boao Forum for Asia International Conference Center. This forum brought together political and business leaders, academic elites and other guests from all walks of life to look ahead at the bright future for the development of Chinese enterprises. Depending on its strong brand influence, DoBe Group stood out from many enterprises and won the title of “Leading Brand in China's Cultural Sector”. Board chairman Jia Bo won the title of “Leading Figure in China's Cultural Sector”.

It’s reported that under the theme “A New Round of Reform Linked to a New Future”, this forum had six parts. Activities such as the annual awards, themed forums, keynote speeches, enterprise brand exhibition, Boao press conference, investment and financing conference, bank-enterprise dialogue, government fund application lectures and entrepreneurs' variety show were held.

This forum invited Zhou Keren, former vice minister of commerce, Wang Yuqing, deputy director of the Committee of Population, Resources and Environment of the 11^th National Committee of the CPPCC and deputy director general of the former State Environmental Protection Administration, Xu Dingming, contract research fellow of the Advisory Office of the State Council, deputy director of Expert Advisory Committee of the National Energy Commission, former director general of the National Energy Administration, Ma Wenpu, vice director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the 11^th National People’s Congress and former undersecretary of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Xu Jian, proprieter of China Business Herald News Weekly, Fang Qing, vice president of the National Institute of Metrology and vice chairman of China Energy Conservation Association, Fu Guohua, member of the standing committee of Hainan Provincial People's Congress and vice president of Hainan University, Yan Zhikang, deputy secretary general of CEATEC under the Ministry of Commerce, Jia Tao, secretary general of Boao Enterprise Forum Organizing Committee, and other leaders, to pool wisdom and jointly discuss how to carry forward excellent entrepreneurship and explore the future for Chinese enterprises in the new era of innovation and reform.

At the forum, Ma Wenpu, vice director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the 11^th National People’s Congress and former undersecretary of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, delivered a speech. First, he proposed to grasp “four new things” in the new era: first, the new era; second, the new idea; third, the new goal; fourth, the new journey. At the end of the speech, he proposed five spirits that entrepreneurs should stick to and appreciated the contributions by enterprises and entrepreneurs to the economy and society. In his idea, these five spirits are the basic requirements for Chinese entrepreneurs and the solid power and source of China's economic development.
