On Dec. 16, as a special guest, DoBe Group’s President Jia Bo attended the Joint Meeting of the National System of Academies of Governance for Culture Management Discipline Construction 2017 sponsored by Chinese Academy of Governance and its Department of Social and Cultural Studies, gave a special report titled “Empowerment, Innovation, Integration, Leadership – Thinking on the Development of Chinese Cultural & Creative Parks" to the leaders and experts present. Zhang Yongxin, Director of the Department of Public Culture of the Ministry of Culture, Prof. Qi Shuyu, Director of the Department of Social and Cultural Studies of Chinese Academy of Governance, also attended the meeting and gave reports.

Chinese Academy of Governance, founded in 1994, is a ministry-level institution directly under the State Council that mainly provides national senior and intermediate civil servants with high-level management and policy research education and training, an important institution that provides the central government with decision-making advisory service, carries out scientific research, particularly theoretical research in fields such as public administration.

In his report, Mr. Jia analyzed the development background and trend of China's cultural industry, introduced in detail the present situation of domestic and overseas cultural industry parks, as well as their advantages, disadvantages and corresponding problems in each stage of development through a large amount of data and abundant cases. By summing up domestic and overseas cultural industry parks’ development experience, based on DoBe Group’s more than ten years of exploration in cultural industry park operation, Mr. Jia suggested cultural industry parks should build an "ecosystem". He shared DoBe cultural industry parks’ experience in constructing the “smart circle”. He hoped, with the big opportunities brought by the state’s “Belt and Road” Initiative, DoBe could expand the cultural industry’s ecosystem globally, so as to build "embassies" for global cultural and creative enterprises.

At the end of his report, Mr. Jia suggested that with the deepening of the state’s "culture +" strategy; in the future, multi-industry integration will become new normalcy for the cultural industry’s development; China's cultural industry parks still have huge spaces for future development, so we must explore and innovate according to the demands of the time.

After listening to the report, representatives present at the meeting expressed their opinions: The report combines theory with practice; the cases are detailed and vivid; DoBe Group’s exploration in cultural industry park "ecosystem" construction provides valuable cases and a new direction for future policy research and formulation for cultural industry park development.
