On the Entrepreneurial Road, DOBE with You——2015 DOBE Program of Young Directors & Entrepreneurial Micro Film Contest Premiere Held

2015-11-13

On Nov. 12, guided by Service Platform for City of Design, cosponsored by DOBE Group, Display and Service Platform for Shanghai Multimedia Industry, Brand Promotion Platform for Shanghai Creative Industry, “2015 DOBE Program of Young Directors & Entrepreneurial Micro Film Contest” Premiere was held in DOBE E-manor of Daning.

Entrepreneurial Micro Films Depict the Entrepreneurial Era

The “DOBE Program of Young Directors & Entrepreneurial Micro Film Contest” which lasted 2 months recruited nearly 100 directors through multiple platforms like the government, enterprises, media and individuals, selected 20 outstanding directors to accept the one-month training in entrepreneurial groups, and selected 3 young directors to undertake the shooting of micro films. The stories of the micro films came from entrepreneurs. Through 3 stories in different historical backgrounds, the films capture entrepreneurs’ life and hidden side in starting businesses, record their entrepreneurial stories, dreams, and display the ongoing entrepreneurial tide in this age.

Micro film Tell Him by Zhang Xiaolian, a director born in the 1990s, was screened as the first micro film in the contest. “Youth means failure is allowed. Youth means no compromising!” He wants to appeal to young people to stick to their dreams by means of a micro film. Micro film Boundless as the Sea and Sky is directed by Suo Zhansheng, a young director born in late 1980s. Director Suo thinks Chinese people born in the 1980s are a generation who experience all kinds of hardships; to entrepreneurs born in the 1980s, starting businesses may be a lifestyle. Micro film So Far and So Close directed by Director Dong Yilin describes the entrepreneurship of people born in the 1970s. They are more mature and reasonable compared with people born in the 1990s, more unhurried and at ease compared with people born in the 1980s. For their dreams, they stick to their original aims.
